This is an unpaid, volunteer position for a non-profit organization; current regulations about unpaid internships can be found here — please note that labor regulations pertain to “for profit” organizations only. Time offered to nonprofits is understood to be volunteered without compensation. Hard work will be rewarded with insider knowledge and occasional chocolate. Job location is in the hills of Oakland, California; we strongly prefer local applicants who have their own transportation.
